Summary:
Regarding cases of illness and recommendations to prevent the spread of illness.Description:
This letter states that there were 66 cases of trachoma; 26 of these cases were in need of operation. There were 8 cases of enlarged cervical glands, most of which were probably tubercular. Ninety-six pupils were found to have enlarged tonsils. Eighty-eight students did not show satisfactory vaccination scars. Forty-five pupils were noted as having tubercular infection of the lungs.
