This report recommends: tooth brushes should be sterilized in sunlight daily to prevent mouth and tooth-related illnesses; more pupils should be vaccinated to prevent the spread of illnesses; pupils with cardiac lesions should be under occasional observation; immediate treatment of pupils with scabies; students with tuberculosis infection be placed on sleeping porches; students who are not gaining weight be placed on a special diet; sleeping porches be added to the girls' building; skylights be placed in the boys' building; an additional classroom be added to prevent crowding and overheating; adding curtains to avoid strong lights in the classrooms; install liquid soap dispensers; and to supply hospital with new equipment. The report also states that pupils with trachoma should not be allowed at public schools due to the fear that they transfer the disease to white pupils.
